PiVOT real time graphics system
Pivot has developed their own real time graphics as there is no other system available which is able to create and generate real time graphics. All systems we found are based on movie players. This has the disadvantage of reduced control once the movie has been created. We can slow down a movie which can result in the video shocking, we can also change the colours but this can affect the whole scene.
The idea of Pivot is based on the way we create light. We create from scratch and in real time. We start with a black picture and then are able to create anything we want (or is asked for). Each element in the graphics is created separately and has it’s own time, colour, speed, brightness, movements etc. All the elements combined create the desired scene. A movement on a small monitor has an entirely different feeling compared to a large wall. A movement on a monitor is a few inches per second compared to a large wall whereby this movement can be multiple meters per second. We don’t have to render if the movement is too fast, we just select the element and slow down the speed, without losing any frame rate as the scene has been created live.
For each video configuration size we have a solution or we can create one. Multiple graphic computers can be stacked together to control large video walls, or walls with different inputs. We are not stocked for a 720x576 PAL output. All sizes are available. All computers are controlled by one master computer; the control desk. From the control desk we can approach all the video walls as one single big screen or as multiple smaller screens simultaneously. We support all kinds of output such as PAL, SDI, VGA, DVI and DMX.
There is so much more to be said about the system but if you are interested in more information please feel free to ask PiVOT what we can do for you. We thrive on crazy ideas.
